Carme Nogueira (Vigo, 1970), es una artista e investigadora cuyo trabajo explora los procesos de subjetivación y la función normativa de los espacios a través de la fotografía, el vídeo y la instalación. En sus proyectos recientes, aborda estas temáticas mediante una serie de procesos de investigación e intervenciones en espacios públicos. A través de estas acciones, a menudo acompañadas de objetos especialmente creados para cada proyecto, Nogueira busca estimular la participación de espectadores o colaboradores, fomentando así la emergencia de narrativas alternativas y activando los lugares.

ITEM #1: TODAS LAS VIDAS
Me gustaría recomendar un libro que acaba de salir: "Todas las vidas" de Tamara Díaz Bringaseditado por Consonni. Se trata de un libro póstumo que recoge diferentes textos que Tamara ha ido escribiendo en los últimos años y que dan cuenta de su trabajo curatorial. Un trabajo silencioso, intenso, lleno de cuidados y brillantez. Y un hacer que ha conseguido tejer una comunidad que, como se evidencia en el propio libro, hace de ese trabajo silencioso un gesto político radical.
Es una recomendación doble, porque también me gustaría destacar el propio trabajo de Consonni y su mirada atenta a los temas que importan.

I would like to recommend a recently released book: "Todas las vidas" by Tamara Díaz Bringas, edited by Consonni. It's a posthumous book that gathers different texts that she has been writing in recent years reflecting her curatorial work. It's a silent, intense, caring, and brilliant work. And a work that has managed to weave a community that, as evidenced in the book itself, turns that silent work into a radical political gesture.
It's a double recommendation because I would also like to highlight Consonni's work and their attentive focus on important issues.
ITEM #2 CONCOMITENTES
También quiero recomendar "Concomitentes" que es una productora cultural que posibilita que un grupo de personas puedan encargar una obra de arte que les ayude a lidiar con una problemática o necesidad común. No uso la palabra solucionar, porque el lugar del arte es otro. De hecho, una de las cosas que me parecen más interesantes es cómo se pone el foco en la utilidad del arte, una utilidad que adquiere muchos significados y muchas formas diferentes. También me parece un gran acierto su matronato.
Actualmente estoy trabajando en un proyecto que se desarrolla bajo esta productora en el "Parque del Pasatempo", en Betanzos, lugar muy recomendable, como también es muy importante agradecer a toda la sociedad civil que está detrás de la recuperación de este Parque, porque gracias a ellos se ha realizado este proyecto y se ha conseguido que el Parque se declare BIC y se esté restaurando.

I also want to recommend "Concomitentes," which is a cultural production company that enables a group of people to commission a work of art that helps them deal with a common problem or need. I don't use the word "solve" because the purpose of art is different. In fact, one of the things that I find most interesting is how the focus is placed on the usefulness of art, a usefulness that takes on many meanings and many different forms. I also think their sponsorship is a great success.
Currently, I am working on a project developed under this production company in the "Parque del Pasatempo" in Betanzos, a highly recommended place. It is also very important to thank all the civil society behind the recovery of this park because thanks to them, this project has been carried out and the park has been declared a Cultural Interest Site (BIC) and is being restored.
ITEM 03: ALAUDA NEGRA
Otro proyecto que merece ser destacado es "Alauda Negra". Se trata de un proyecto editorial con base en Galicia en el que a partir de proyectos de fotografía se realizan publicaciones en diferentes formatos. Cada publicación es única y diferente. Además de la calidad de su proyecto, me parece muy destacable que esté radicado en Galicia. No es fácil poner en marcha proyectos aquí y el suyo es un proyecto que no deja de crecer y promueve un intercambio entre nuestro contexto artístico y otros.

Another project that deserves to be highlighted is "Alauda Negra." It is an editorial project based in Galicia where photography projects produce publications in various formats. Each publication is unique and different. In addition to the quality of their project, I find it noteworthy that it is based in Galicia. It's not easy to launch projects here, and theirs is a project that continues to grow and promotes an exchang between others.
ITEM 04: TIERRA DE LOS AMIGOS
Por último me gustaría recomendar una exposición "Tierra de los amigos" de Carolina Caycedo en Artium. Es la primera exposición de esta artista en España y es una artista que me ha interesado ya hace tiempo. La conocí en un proyecto con Tamara ("Archivacción" Bienal de Pontevedra 2010) y pienso que es una suerte poder ver este proyecto dentro de la programación de Artium, que también pienso que es muy recomendable en su conjunto.
Finally, I would like to recommend an exhibition, "Tierra de los amigos" by Carolina Caycedo at Artium. It is the first exhibition of this artist in Spain, and she has interested me for some time now. I met her in a project with Tamara ("Archivacción" Biennial of Pontevedra 2010), and I think it is fortunate to be able to see this project as part of Artium's programming, which I also think is highly recommended as a whole.
