Vale, esto no es un libro, pero qué hallazgo... el Citroën ID 19 sur Ballons de 1959 a escala 1:43 en peana.
Una versión única del icónico coche francés que imaginaba de cerca el futuro. Su nombre se refiere a los neumáticos grandes y distintivos que se desarrollaron especialmente para este modelo, un avanzado sistema de suspensión oleoneumática.
Un tipo de coche del mañana exigía un tipo nuevo de presentación, ¡y este fue el asombroso resultado! Citroën optó por lo vanguardista y se comprometió con ello al convertir el DS en una obra de arte gracias al marketing, haciéndolo flotar en un lago sobre cuatro grandes globos rojos. La instalación de 1959 fue concebida para resaltar el carácter flotante de la suspensión única de la serie D. Celebrando otro hito, la exhibición tenía su icónico volante blanco y el acabado claro de pintura del ID 19 de Paul Coltelloni, ganador del Campeonato Europeo de Rally, 'Blonde Tortoiseshell'.

Okay, this is not a book but what a find... the 1959 Citroën ID 19 sur Ballons 1:43 scale on plinth.
Unique version of the iconic French car that closely imagined of future. Its name refers to the large, distinctive tires that were specially developed for this model, a cutting-edge oleo-pneumatic suspension system.
Sort of car of tomorrow demanded a new sort of introduction, and this was the amazing result! Citroen opted for the avant-garde and committed to the bit by turning the DS into an artwork thanks to marketing, making it float on a lake atop four large red balloons. The 1959 installation was devised to play up the floating character of the D-Series’ unique suspension. Celebrating a further milestone, the display had its iconic white steering wheel and the pale paint finish of European Rally Championship winner Paul Coltelloni’s ID 19 rally car, 'Blonde Tortoiseshell'.
This object is the testimony of that brilliance, a masterpiece that transcends the boundaries of conventional design. It's not just a car; it's a symbol of sophistication and driving pleasure that continues to captivate automotive and design enthusiasts.

Italia. 1968. Un libro extraordinario sobre la verdadera Italia. La Italia secreta antes de que Instagram la "quemara". ¡Y una de las mejores portadas que hemos visto, por supuesto! El contraste de colores, la tipografía... hay algo tan hipnótico que nos sorprende. ¡Simplemente perfecto!
Un libro raro, creemos que nunca llegó a venderse, publicado por ENIT para promover el turismo en Italia. Texto de Guido Piovene y contribución gráfica de Mimmo Castellano. Nos apasiona el intenso color y grano de sus imágenes. ¡Un diseño muy contemporáneo para finales de los años 60!
Sus páginas recorren lugares de belleza suprema: paisajes, arquitectura, ocio en la playa y la nieve... y también a su gente y cultura. El libro celebra la vida de lo que sucede en cada momento agudizando nuestro sentido.
